Group Financial Controller

Aaron Wallis Finance is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a Financial Services business based in Central London.

In the role of Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the smooth running of the finance functions in each entity, with the assistance of in house staff and external agencies. You will be driving global efficiency and process improvements and you will be accountable for preparing the weekly cash flows; producing monthly financial reporting; and managing the statutory requirements. Other key duties will include:

Weekly revenue review and cash flow forecasting
Management of the credit control function
Month End Processing, including the timely production of the monthly accounts and monthly and quarterly reporting packs for the Management Team.
Production of the UK entity and consolidated statutory accounts under UK GAAP, liaising with the audit team to ensure timely sign off .
Preparation of international statutory reporting, liaising with overseas agents and audit teams .
VAT and National Audit Office returns
Management and development of the UK finance team.
Key point of contact for the bank, ensuring all monthly reporting requirements are met and liaising on any funding requirements
Maximise SAP solution to support and develop global finance processes
Supporting the Business, Delivery Directors and Project Managers ensuring they have timely, relevant information to enable accurate project tracking

The successful candidate will need to have Group Accounting experience ideally within Financial Services/ Insurance sector and be either Qualified Accountant or QBE. Strong communication along with group consolidation and international accounting is essential within this position.
