Commercial Contracts Manager/ Legal Councel
Aaron Wallis Finance is currently recruiting a Commercial Contracts Manager for a reputable business based in Bedfordshire. The position has been newly created due to rapid growth within the Europian and Asian markets.
In the role of Commercial Contracts Manager you will be responsible for drafting and finalising all client and key supplier contracts. Other key duties will include:
*Involvement at all stages of the business winning process, particularly at contract negotiation, drafting and review stages.
*Need pragmatic, risk-based approach in supporting the business
*Responsibility for providing in depth, professional and proactive legal advice and support to the business.
*Liaising with legal depts. of customers or key client contacts
*Preparing and negotiating contracts
*Seeking relevant legal advice from US or external advisors where necessary for all relevant jurisdictions
*Supporting tender activity
*Responding to client queries and requests for support from field staff
The successful candidate will need to be fully Qualified Lawyer or Qualified by experience with a specialism in contract and commercial law. A thorough in depth knowledge of international contract and commercial law along with a strong background in contract drafting, review and negotiation is highly desire able.
