Sales Manager, Print and Point of Sale, UK Wide

This is a sophisticated corporate sales role where you will be tasked with winning large annual contracts to supply together with major one-off promotions. As such, it is suited to an individual with experience of winning in excess of £1M new business per annum in the print and/or POS sector.

You will have full access to all of the company's existing accounts which include major retailers, major food manufacturers, petrol retailers, non food manufacturers and other major corporate clients. Using these contacts as referral points and as leverage to win new business within existing accounts you must be a consummate sales professional that has experience of winning major contracts within the print and point of sale sector.

This is a highly autonomous role where you are supported by two sales administrators that will assist with bids and tender writing, appointment setting, marketing campaigns and general sales administration. The role reports into the Managing Director and is ideal for a self starter than is able to formulate a strategy and then execute it together with your team in a systematic way to ensure that the first year target of £1M of new business is exceeded. The company have 50 staff, unique machinery and pride themselves on their ability to deliver a quality and speedy service together with a wide range of innovative solutions. This 'go ahead' business enjoys consistent business growth, extremely low staff attrition and has won several local business awards.

To apply you will be of graduate calibre with extensive business development skills within the print and POS sector, ideally with experience of winning retail and design/marketing agency contracts. In addition you will be well presented with excellent verbal and written communication skills and extensive experience e in winning business through complex bids and tender processes.

You will have board level involvement on a weekly basis and significant input into the direction of this successful and burgeoning business.
