Teesside top for engineering graduates
Companies keen on recruiting the best qualified technical sales jobs staff in the mechanical engineering industry should turn their attention to Teesside University.
The university is top dog for mechanical engineering teaching in the UK, according to the Guardian's university league table.
According to vice chancellor Graham Henderson, the university produces "graduates with the skills employees desperately need".
The institution has also set itself the target of becoming the UK's leading "business facing" university.
Teesside also hopes to recruit 3,000 work-based learners over the next three years, which could once again prick the ears of company recruiters.
Vice chancellor Graham Henderson added: "We are delighted with this reaffirmation of the excellence of our universitys engineering programme."
The university recently secured £5.2 million from the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
