Engineering sales jobs boosted by RAF scheme
The Royal Air Force (RAF) has agreed a multi-million pound contract with a maintenance firm which could help bolster engineering sales jobs in the UK.
Panavia won the £28 million contract to look after the Tornado GR4 aircraft, which the RAF said is still one of the "most capable ground attack platforms" within its arsenal.
Sales jobs could be boosted as the contract pans out over two phases, with Panavia responsible for ensuring aircraft fatigue is handled.
The company could eventually oversee £207 million worth of modifications to the planes if the second phase is put in motion.
The RAF stated: "Recent investments in state-of-the-art avionics, defensive aids, precision weapons and reconnaissance systems have ensured the aircraft remains a potent and flexible offensive air platform."
Meanwhile, people interviewing for sales jobs need to go the extra mile when preparing, according to Mount Juliet Jobs, which said being assertive and positive is essential if candidates want to impress.
